Trusting God: His Purpose and Plan
Life often presents us with uncertainties, challenges, and moments where we question our path and purpose. In these moments, it's essential to anchor ourselves in faith and trust in God's unwavering plan for our lives. The journey may not always be clear, and obstacles may arise, but God's purpose remains steadfast.
So shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
God led His people out of Egypt and into the promised land just as He promised. (Exodus 14)
God sent the flood after giving Noah instructions to build an ark. (Genesis 6)
God answered by fire when Elijah calls on the name of the Lord in the challenge against the prophets of Baal. (1Kings 18)
God gave Abraham and Sarah the son He promised (Genesis 21)
Remember, God never does anything without a plan and a purpose. You may feel inadequate, disappointed, or mishandled. Good news, when He gives you an assignment, He sees the end from the beginning. He sees you greater than how you may currently see yourself and much further than your bad experiences.
There was a man in scripture named Gideon, he was described as a timid man but became known as the greatest of all 15 judges. When the angel of the Lord approached him, He called Gideon a mighty hero; and said the Lord is with you. God patiently worked with Gideon to build his identity, faith, and trust to complete the call and He can do the same for you.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.
Trusting God's purpose requires surrendering our fears, doubts, and desires, allowing His wisdom to guide us. It's a journey of faith, embracing the unknown with courage and conviction, knowing that God's plan is rooted in love, grace, and divine wisdom.
Second, humbly act in obedience, and you will see Him repair and restore trust as you gain experience with Him with each victory.
Prayer:
Father, in moments of uncertainty, strengthen our faith and remind us of Your unwavering love. Help us trust in Your plan, knowing that You hold our future and guide our steps with divine wisdom. Give us the courage to embrace Your purpose, surrender our fears, and walk in faith, knowing that Your promises are true and Your presence is all ways with us.
