Making Every Moment Count
"Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." - Psalm 90:12

Solomon writes in Proverbs 27:1, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.” From this passage of Scripture, we are told that we are not promised tomorrow. If today was your last day, would it change how you spend your moments?
Our perspective in life shapes our experiences. What If you knew you would have the job of your dreams after receiving 15 No’s, would you be discouraged? Or would you go through each no checking them off because you knew God was bringing your yes? A perspective grounded in faith helps you find joy during adversity.
God desires you live with intentionality, purpose, and a heart of wisdom in the way you use your time? Take time today to reflect on the blessings around you. Thank God for the air you breathe, functioning limbs, traveling grace, even protection in the comfort of your home. Seize the moments to prayer for others, give to others without expecting anything in return. There is a unique joy that comes from making a positive impact on someone else's journey.
Prayer:
Father thank you for every moment in my life. Thank you for allowing me to fulfill the number of my days. I declare that I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord. Let each moment that I live be pleasing in Your sight. Let others see You in me and glorify the Father which is in heaven. Let them come to know You as the loving God whom You are and accept You as their personal Lord and Savior, in Jesus’ name.
